Computer Cartography / GIS Laboratory
GGS Room 321
This lab consists of 23 Dell Optiplex GX270s
(P4,3 GHZ 1GB RAM ) with 17" flat panel monitors.
Available peripherals include 6 Calcomp digitizing
tablets, an HP 5300c scanner with Photoshop Elements on the
connecting computer and a networked HP inkjet 2500c and HP
2300dn, a black & white duplex laser printer. The computers
are also equipped with DVD/CD-RW drives and the Roxio Easy
CD Creator software.
In the ceiling is mounted a 3M LCD projector.
Installed software includes GIS and cartographic
software as well as the network utilities.
The lab room is set up for projection of computer
screens, overhead transparencies or slides, and may be reserved
for presentations.

Lab 321 is accessible to undergraduate and
graduate geography majors in the department and to students
in geography classes which currently use the room for instruction.
