Atmospheric Sciences

The UGA Atmospheric Sciences Program offers certificate programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The undergraduate certificate is offered in conjunction with a bachelors degree from a participating program. The operational meteorology track of the undergraduate certificate meets the federal civil service requirements for employment as a meteorologist and the American Meteorological Society's recommended curriculum. The general atmospheric sciences track of the undergraduate certificate can be tailored to suit the students interests and career goals.
